How the shipped configuration reduces overhead
The first two cards are dated observations from the repository's 2026-08-31 Windows measurements, not performance guarantees; see the conditions and limits. The other two describe the shipped configuration.
Warm agent service
With the recorded configuration and a reused warm agent service, session open measured 105 to 115 ms instead of 631 to 728 ms. The service reuses the client process and parsed runtime state, not model weights. The recorded external wall time was worse and remained unresolved.
Dynamic tools
Across three headless create-file runs per setting, the prompt measured 1,976 tokens instead of 9,676, and model calls took 861 to 1,051 ms instead of 1,431 ms, 27 to 40 percent shorter. Every measured run produced the requested file.
One-call transactions
A bounded create, edit, or named-test transaction can finish from the typed tool result and an objective postcondition without a second model call used only for narration.
Bounded turns
The shipped configuration caps a turn at 24 base model calls and 600 seconds, both raised on 2026-09-02, and at 5,000,000 microcents of provider-reported spend (1 microcent = one millionth of a cent). The spend value is a runaway guard, not a pricing promise.
What it is not
- No local model: it does not install or run one, and needs no GPU.
- No image or video generation tools in the shipped configuration.
- No Python on the standard build or launch path.
